LAMPUNG (UAP) – The Informatics Engineering Study Program at the Faculty of Technology and Informatics (FTI), Universitas Aisyah Pringsewu (UAP), has achieved accreditation with the predicate “Very Good” from the Independent Accreditation Institute for Informatics and Computers (LAMINFOKOM). This achievement is stated in the Decree (SK) number: 237/SK/LAM-INFOKOM/Ak/S/XII/2024, obtained after the program has been established for five years.
The Dean of the Faculty of Technology and Informatics at UAP, Dr. Ir. Zulkifli, S.T., M.Kom, expressed gratitude and optimism for this achievement. According to him, the “Very Good” predicate will provide great benefits to the wider community.
“This ‘Very Good’ accreditation predicate is expected to bring benefits to society, in line with our tagline BEDA (Brave, Energetic, Dynamic, Accountable),” he stated.
The Rector of Universitas Aisyah Pringsewu, Wisnu Probo Wijayanto, S.Kep., Ners., MAN, also conveyed his appreciation for this accomplishment. He emphasized that the accreditation results align with the targets set by the faculty.
“Alhamdulillah, we are grateful because this achievement meets the established target. The accreditation score reached 330 points, demonstrating that the quality of this study program has reached a high level. We hope that with improved performance and quality, the Informatics Engineering Study Program at UAP will achieve the ‘Excellent’ predicate in the next accreditation,” explained the Rector.
Wisnu also stated that with an already high accreditation score of 330 points, the program only needs an additional 30 points to achieve the “Unggul (Excellent)” predicate in the next accreditation. He hopes this achievement will motivate everyone involved to continue striving for better performance and quality.
The Rector of Universitas Aisyah Pringsewu also invited the broader community interested in pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Informatics Engineering to join the Informatics Engineering Study Program at UAP.
This “Very Good” accreditation achievement is expected to increase public trust in the quality of education offered by the Informatics Engineering Study Program at Universitas Aisyah Pringsewu, and motivate all academic members to continue improving the quality of education and research in the field of informatics.
